The project funds the following doctoral scholarships in order to promote quality scholarship in the field of missiology and help further missiological research projects.
Paul G. Hiebert Prize
In recognition of Paul Hiebert’s outstanding contributions to the field of missiology, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School is pleased to announce the establishments of the “Paul Hiebert Prize.” This prize is in honor of Paul and Frances Hiebert. It is given each year to a Trinity doctoral student for a dissertation or publication which makes a significant contribution to the field of missiology.

Clive Chin, for his PhD dissertation, “The Perception of Christianity as a Rational Religion in Singapore: A Missiological Analysis of Christian Conversion.”
Jonathan Ro, for his PhD dissertation, “Globalization’s Impact on the Urban Church in China : A Multiple Case-Study of Four Churches in a Major Urban Center.”
Rochelle Cathcart, for her PhD dissertation, “Preaching and Culture : An In-Depth Analysis of the Engagements with Culture in the Sermons of Rob Bell, Timothy Keller, and Michael Pfleger.”
